As summer approaches, many are looking for nighttime programs.
Today, I’m excited to introduce a popular program in Jeonju Hanok Village, the Jeonju night tour ‘Gyeonggijeon Starlight Stroll’!

 

“Jeonju Night Tour Gyeonggijeon Starlight Stroll”

‘Gyeonggijeon Starlight Stroll.’
· Duration : May to September 2024.
· Location : Inside Gyeonggijeon at Jeonju Hanok Village.

<Every Friday>
(1st time slot) 20:30 to 21:30.
(2nd time slot) 21:30 to 22:30.

50 people can enter per time slot, with 25 tickets available online and 25 on-site!
Tickets can be purchased online at Ticketlink, and on-site ticket sales start at 19:00 in front of Gyeonggijeon.
However, on-site tickets usually sell out within 10-15 minutes, so booking online in advance is recommended.

Before entering, you will receive a guidebook and a glowing badge, which you must return upon exit.

<Gyeonggijeon Starlight Stroll Tour Course>
Estimated duration : 60 minutes.

The tour is made up of 6 courses.
① Jeongjeon ② Bamboo Forest ③ Pine Forest ④ Western Stone Wall Path ⑤ Shadow Photo Spot ⑥ Auxiliary House
Let’s explore the courses one by one.

Upon entering, you will see Jeongjeon in the distance.
Follow the path with reverence to meet the portrait of Taejo, the founder of the Joseon Dynasty!

As you exit Jeongjeon, you’ll find a bamboo forest on the right.
This bamboo forest is lit up with vibrant and bright lights.
It’s famous as a filming location for several dramas, including “Shurub,” “Yeonmo,” and “Mr. Sunshine.”
Additionally, it’s recognized as one of the top photo spots in Jeonju Hanok Village.
Enjoy the Starlight Weaving alongside the stunning bamboo forest!

Continue walking through the pine forest until you reach the western stone wall path.
Walking here in the cool night air is arguably the best night tour in Jeonju!

The path is beautifully illuminated, and the glowing Jeondong Cathedral adds to the welcoming atmosphere.

Beyond the western stone wall path, there is a shadow photo spot.
Use your shadow to strike unique poses and capture memorable photos!

This spot is popular for a variety of photo poses, including jump shots, as well as group or couple photos.

You can also enjoy a performance of the gayageum and cello at the auxiliary house’s grass field.

<Gayageum and Cello Performance>
· Location : Grass field at the auxiliary house
· 1st time : 20:55 to 21:05 (10 minutes)
· 2nd time : 21:55 to 22:05 (10 minutes)
The performance of the gayageum and cello provides a mesmerizing experience.

The audience clapping along enhances the brilliance of the Gyeonggijeon Starlight Stroll night.

After the performance, you can enjoy the serene night view with the auxiliary house as your backdrop.
The Gyeonggijeon Starlight Stroll program allows people of all ages to enjoy viewing, listening, and walking all in one space.
