The best ‘Chinese Fringetree Spot’ in the nation, Jeonju Palbok-dong Railroad, is now open!

May is almost here!

After hearing that the Chinese Fringetrees have blossomed and Jeonju’s top ‘Chinese Fringetree Spot’ at Palbok-dong Railroad has opened, I made a quick visit.

“Jeonju Palbok-dong Railroad, Korea’s Top ‘Chinese Fringetree Spot,’ is open!”

You could easily see that the Chinese Fringetrees have bloomed beautifully from the light steps and the bustling crowd.

Palbok-dong Chinese Fringetree Railroad is the first of its kind to be opened to the public nationwide!

It’s so unique that you could see the excitement in people’s eyes.

The railroad is open from April 26 at 2 PM until May 12, only on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays!

This is a functioning railroad track, so safety is especially important!

Remember, we must only enter during the designated hours for our safety!

During the opening period, a temporary parking lot is provided at the Palbok Art Factory and in nearby areas.

The opening hours for the temporary parking lot match those of the railroad.

On my visit, which was the first day it was open, there were cultural events, a flea market, and food trucks!

With the stunning Chinese Fringetrees and various cultural activities, it was a rewarding time.

The weather is perfect for outings these days, and many people gathered on that day.

There were areas set up where you could buy food and sit comfortably, making it feel like you were on a picnic!

There was a pathway set up like a walking trail, perfect for a leisurely stroll.

The mix of warm sunlight, a cool breeze, and fluffy Chinese Fringetrees made this brief time feel relaxing even in the midst of a busy life.

The hard railroad tracks combined with the May Chinese Fringetrees created an atmosphere that kept me captivated!

In addition to the Chinese Fringetrees, a variety of brightly colored spring flowers were in bloom, making the Palbok-dong Railroad a visually enjoyable place.

Recently, the 25th Jeonju International Film Festival also opened in Jeonju.
