Jeonju Hyanggyo (Confucian School) Covered in Yellow Gingko Leaves
Located in Jeonju Hanok Village, Jeonju Hyanggyo (Confucian School) is famous for the magnificent giant gingko trees. Every autumn, the ground of Jeonju Hyanggyo is covered with the yellow leaves, creating almost surreal autumn scenery. Thanks to this, Jeonju Hyanggyo attracts visitors nation-wide during this period.
The yellow gingko leaves are already piling up on the ground, covering the premise. Some people were throwing the leaves in the air to take interesting photos.
The gingko trees of Jeonju Hyanggyo tend to get bigger as one approaches the center of the premise. People sat on the raised wooden floor of buildings to appreciate the magnificent giant gingko trees of Jeonju Hyanggyo.
Walking among the giant gingko trees and stepping on the fallen gingko leaves, I enjoyed the heightened autumn mood. If you’re travelling in Korea and visiting Jeonju during this autumn, I recommend you visit Jeonju Hanok Village and Jeonju Hyanggyo before all the autumn leaves fall!
