I healed my mind at the Garden Culture Center, a perfect space for a date in Jeonju.

Jeonju, a city of blending tradition and modernity, offers travelers a diverse range of attractions.

Besides the popular destinations such as Jeonju Hanok Village, traditional markets, and renowned restaurants, here are healing spaces that provide a unique atmosphere when you plan for a date.

These include the Subtropical Botanical Garden and the Garden Culture Center Library.

A while ago, I visited the Jeonju Garden Culture Center to explore these two places.

With whole glass wall, the center allowed a clear view of the interior even from outside.

Maybe because it was a fine day with bright sunshine, I was in high spirits.

Here are the operating hours for the Subtropical Botanical Garden.

This location provides the chance to spend relaxing time while relishing the nature in the city and serves as a perfect venue not only for unique dating for couples but also for family outings.

  • < The Subtropical Botanical Garden with lush greenery>

The Subtropical Botanical Garden is a space where you can appreciate abundant vegetation all year round. An array of subtropical plants densely occupies all over the greenhouse, creating a mood as if you’re in the middle of an exotic jungle.

Giant palm trees, cacti, and rare tropical plants are harmoniously intertwined to generate a refreshing atmosphere, giving a good chance to breath in the fresh air and enjoy a moment of winding down. On top of that, this is an ideal spot for taking emotional pictures to be posted on social media, making it one of the right date spots in Jeonju.

The Inside temperature of the garden remains unchanged, allowing visitors to commune with nature in a warm condition even in the cold winter. With the explanatory signs placed all over the garden offering details on each plant’s characteristics and benefits, this location functions as a nature learning center for children as well.

This is a dating spot in Jeonju. If you’re a couple, you can take a stroll together and share small talks under the greenery nature, or if you’re friends, you can take turns snapping photos of each other, capturing the pic of the day.

In the course of walking through the green trees, it feels like I have my mind healed.

While exploring the plants, I found out that a library is situated on the second floor before heading to there.

These stairs lead you up to the library.

  • < The Garden Culture Center Library, a space for blending books with the garden>

Beyond just a library, the Garden Culture Library acts as a cultural space where a garden and books harmoniously coexist.

Being small in size compared to those of other libraries, this location provides a pleasant space furnished with a variety of books on different topics. There exists both interior and exterior reading rooms so that you can enjoy reading in the midst of nature.

The window seats are a perfect spot for silent reading or contemplation while basking in sun.

For couples, they can choose interesting books to read together, creating a bond with each other or families visiting with children can spend time in the fairy story section, nurturing their emotional growth.

One of the most attractive things about this place is the reading space linked to the garden. While reading a book indoors, you can step outside on sunny days when you feel inclined to and immerse yourself in nature, finding comfort. Inside the library are equipped with comfortable chairs, allowing visitors to stay for as long as they want without feeling any inconvenience.

Since various events including multiple periodic exhibitions are held at the Garden Culture Center, be sure to check the schedule before you visit to make your time more valuable.

Fish as well as plants is available for viewing at the Jeonju Garden Culture Center.

I highly recommend this place as a new healing and date destination in Jeonju.

If you’re planning to make your date special in Jeonju, one of the best options is to visit the Subtropical Botanical Garden and the Garden Culture Center Library. The leisurely hours spent in green scenery coupled with the emotional vibe evoked from books and gardens are enough to take a pause in your daily hectic life.

Not only citizen of Jeonju but also travelers to the city are advised to explore these spaces.
