City Camping in Jeonju! Discover ‘NAPSUITE’ and ‘LALA GARDEN’

As the warm, breezy weather sets in, many people are heading out camping.

But for those who wish they could go right away but can’t, I’m here to introduce two unique spots in downtown Jeonju where you can enjoy a camping-like experience.

• NAPSUITE

The first unique place I want to introduce is ‘NAPSUITE’ in Taepyeong-dong, close to Gaekridan-gil.
Drawn in by the atmospheric camping vibe I felt from a distance, I couldn’t resist heading straight in.

From the moment I walked in, it truly felt like a camping trip.
This spot evokes the feeling of a morning after a night spent outdoors, ideal for a relaxed cup of tea.

More than just offering delicious beverages such as tea, coffee, and sweet chocolate lattes, this unique Jeonju gem boasts an atmospheric vibe and curated music.

For me, camping is all about finding a sense of relaxation it offers.
And NAPSUITE perfectly delivered the warm and leisurely atmosphere as the evening sun illuminated the space, creating a truly fantastic experience.

Plus, they stock various camping gear, making it a lot of fun just to browse.

I order a sweet chocolate latte, and find the phrase “It’s time for camping” inscribed on the table.
Inspired by the real boost offered by this café, I’m in the mood to go camping.

• LALA GARDEN

The next unique Jeonju spots is ‘LALA GARDEN’, nestled in the alley near Chopo Bridge in Hoseong-dong.
This isn’t just any restaurant but a culinary gem feeling like a real camping ground.

Beyond just the authentic campsite mood, here you can reportedly enjoy all the best parts of camping from a BBQ party, fire gazing to marshmallows and even fireworks.

Stepping inside, I could feel atmospheric camping feel thanks to effort put into every corner.
Each seating area offers a unique ambiance, making it genuinely feel like a campsite.

My order was the Beef Signature Platter for two.
This dish is smoked for six hours using the offset method, allowing you to savor a deep, rich BBQ flavor and a mild texture.

The food looked incredibly appetizing and I put on gloves to enjoy every delicious bite.

After my BBQ feast, feeling fully satisfied, I headed outside for some fire gazing.
Outside, a specially area for fire gazing was prepared.
Even with the crisp evening breeze, the warmth from the fire gave me a comforting warmth.

I even brought marshmallows and fireworks to fully enjoy the camping fun until the last time.

The delightful dishes and cozy setting felt like a brief, real camping trip, a perfect escape from daily life.
