From October, various autumn festivals are taking place nationwide.
In Jeonju, a variety of festivals featuring taste, style, and passion are gathered for the Jeonju Integrated Festival, held throughout October with

the slogan “October, Tastier Jeonju!”

Themed around taste: they include the Jeonju Bibimbap Festival, Jeonju Makgeolli Festival, Taste Feast & Taste Pride, SweetStore with CookieRun,

Sool BOX, and under the theme of style: Jeonju International Hanji Craft Fair, Jeonju Reading Festival, Giant Drone Show, K-Musical Open-Air Performance, and the Korea Hanbok Model Contest.

Themed around excitement: Jeonju Festa Opening, Closing Festival, Jeonju Joseon Pop Festival, Our Playground, Retro Club & Hidden Show, and the Jeonju Harmony Performance, etc.

I attended the opening ceremony of Jeonju Festa 2024.

At the sports complex, a ‘Brave Cookie’ sculpture dressed in a Hanbok specially designed for Jeonju was installed.

Linked to the key content ‘SweetStore,’ a joint event with Cookie Run was held, allowing attendees to enjoy the festival and purchase various foods.

In front of the sculpture, families lined up to take photos, creating a picturesque scene.

Passing the main entrance of the sports complex, to the left, you will find traditional Korean pub tents, shade tents, camping zones, and a gourmet food village; to the right, umbrella zones and food truck zones were set up.

Along the main pathway, tables were placed where many festival-goers enjoyed the event with drinks and food purchased from nearby.

 

| Jeonju Festa 2024 Opening.

The grand opening performance for the October Integrated Festival, Jeonju Festa 2024, occurred from 19:00 to 21:00.

The opening performance started with a media-linked performance and a dance troupe, followed by the opening declaration and ceremony.

Following the opening declaration, a stunning fireworks display lit up the autumn sky, capturing the attention of all spectators.
The night was illuminated with vibrant colors, providing the audience with unforgettable memories of an autumn evening.

Notably, from 7:40 PM to 7:50 PM that day, there was a light show involving 2,024 drones.
A massive drone light show with different themes is scheduled each week, so please stay tuned.

The opening event concluded with celebratory performances by the popular artists Triple S and Kim Bum Soo.

It was a splendid opening for Jeonju Festa 2024.
