The 2024 Jeonju Outdoor Water Park is now open! Visit the Jeonju World Cup Stadium~

Is it the impact of global warming? It’s currently hot and humid with squally weather.
Today, to mark the start of summer vacation, I’m excited to share with you the Jeonju outdoor water park where you can enjoy water activities with your children.

“Come have fun at the newly opened Jeonju 2024 outdoor water park at the Jeonju World Cup Stadium~”

Did you know a large water park, free for everyone, has opened in downtown Jeonju?

· Operating dates : July 26, 2024 (Friday) to August 18 (Sunday)
· Location : Jeonju World Cup Stadium
· Operating hours : (First session) 10 AM to 1 PM  (Second session) 2 PM to 5 PM
· Closed on : Mondays and in rainy conditions
· Suitable for : Infants, children, teenagers (elementary, middle, high school), and their families
· Admission fee : Free

During my visit, I found the Jeonju water park packed with fun features like structural slides, a lazy river, water basketball, and aqua challenges.

It seems like it will be very popular with kids during their summer break, right?
Areas are available where even young children can enjoy with their parents, so you can have fun without any worries!
Seeing the cool water streams made it feel like the heat just flew away.

The water park felt overall clean and safe.

The water park operates in two daily sessions, from 10 AM to 1 PM and from 2 PM to 5 PM, each session lasting three hours.
Please note, there is a one-hour break from 1 PM for midday checks on water quality and facilities.
The venue can accommodate up to 1,000 people at once, allowing a maximum of 2,000 visitors daily on a first-come, first-served basis.

Also, to ensure clean and safe water, the pool’s filtration system operates 24/7, and water quality tests are conducted every 2 hours.

It was extremely hot this past weekend, wasn’t it?
I was thrilled to learn that there’s a new place in the city where children can safely and cleanly enjoy water activities.
Wouldn’t it be great to bring the kids to the Jeonju World Cup Stadium, especially when traveling far is challenging?

Here is some information about the amenities:
1) A shelter with air conditioning for cooling off2) A station for inflating items3) A first aid station and simple showers that use collected rainwater4) Restrooms, separate changing rooms for men and women, and a food court
Having places to relax after playing in the water proved very convenient.

Information about the food court:
Note that there is hot water available for noodles and a self-service coffee machine near the food court.
